As the only day Specialist School in the Nelson, Marlborough, Tasman area, we are proud to provide a learning environment where every student is valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive. Our aspiration is to engage students in meaningful, relevant, and appropriately challenging learning experiences that support their growth, wellbeing, and sense of belonging.
At the heart of our kura is a positive and inclusive culture where students are supported by a dedicated team of teachers, teacher aides, and therapists who bring deep knowledge, care, and commitment to their work each day. We recognise that every student’s journey is unique. Their personalised learning programmes reflect a holistic, student-centred approach that nurtures learning, independence, and wellbeing, while supporting each young person to reach their potential.
Strong partnerships with parents, caregivers, and whānau are an essential part of our approach. We value the knowledge you bring about your child and encourage you to stay connected with their learning and experiences at school. You are always welcome to visit, talk with your child’s teacher, and see the learning happening in our classrooms.
