CURRICULUM PATHWAYS

At Maitai Specialist School we embrace the diverse learning journeys of our students through our Curriculum Pathways. Our pathways are tailored to our education setting and acknowledge the unique strengths and needs of each student. Students may learn across different pathways during their time with us or they may remain within one pathway depending on their learning needs. 

Our Curriculum Pathways are:

• Semi-formal

• Formal

For our older students we have our Senior Pathway: 'Transition to Adult Life'. This is a  distinctive approach focused on life skills, work experience and fostering independence for the journey beyond school. The Senior Pathway empowers learners with a robust foundation for adulthood.
