Our Individualised Education Programme (IEP) process is at the heart of our commitment to providing exceptional educational experiences for our students. With a strong emphasis on partnership between whānau, teachers, and therapists, our IEP process is designed to set and achieve meaningful goals that go beyond the curriculum.
Twice a year, our dedicated team gathers for IEP meetings. In the initial session, we collaboratively set personalised goals, addressing the specific strengths and next steps of each student. We ask whānau to share their long term goals for their child/young person and break these down into achieveable steps that work towards these aspirations.
The second meeting, held mid-year, provides a platform to discuss progress. We can celebrate achievement, identify areas for growth, and adapt our approach if needed. Throughout the year, these goals are continuously monitored, with teachers and therapists working closely to assess and support students.
