Susie Mole provides speech language therapy intervention across out base school and satellites. She is a UK-trained therapist who moved to New Zealand in 2000. She transferred to Maitai Specialist School in 2022, having spent 20 years working in a specialist education school in Auckland.
Susie is also the therapy team coordinator and is responsible for the day to day running of the therapy team.

Emily Wood is one of the Occupational Therapists working at Maitai.
As well as providing occupational therapy services, She is also the staff board of trustees representative, and a key member of the design team for the school rebuild.

Cindy Shield graduated with a Master of Creative Arts Therapy (Clinical) with first class honours from Whitecliffe College in 2022. Cindy enjoys creating a gentle, calm and safe space for our students to explore and express their creative voice in the therapy room.

Kelly Crichton has 20+ years of experience working alongside and supporting neuro-divergent and neuro-typical individuals in both community mental health spaces and schools. She is a Certified Autplay Therapy Provider and holds Level 1 and 2 qualifications in Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). Kelly is currently working towards becoming a registered Play Therapist.
Kelly also holds a Diploma in Sand Tray Therapy that she includes in her practice. She offers a safe and inviting space where the student can work at their own pace and level of development to express their thoughts and feelings for optimal growth. Playfulness and compassion sit at the core of her therapeutic practice.
